Sheet metal processing accounts for one-third of the world's metal processing and is widely used in almost all walks of life. The cutting process of fine sheet metal (sheet metal thickness less than 6mm) is nothing more than plasma cutting, flame cutting, shearing machine, stamping, etc. Among them, laser cutting has boomed in recent years. With high efficiency, high energy density and flexibility, laser cutting is the choice for precision, speed and efficiency in the sheet metal cutting industry. In a sense, laser cutting machines have brought a technological revolution to sheet metal processing.

The laser cutting machine cutting aluminum plate also depends on the power of the laser generator. Thickness 6000W can be cut 16mm, 4500W can be cut 12mm. But the processing cost is high because it is a highly reflective material. Laser cutting is to irradiate the workpiece with a focused laser beam of high power density, so that the irradiated material rapidly melts, vaporizes, ablates or reaches the ignition point. At the same time, with the help of the coaxial laser beam, the high-speed airflow blows away the molten material, thereby realizing the cutting of the workpiece.

Laser cutting has high efficiency, high energy density and flexibility. Whether in terms of accuracy, speed or efficiency, it is the choice of the sheet metal cutting industry. As a processing method, laser cutting can cut almost all materials, including two-dimensional or three-dimensional cutting of thin metal sheets. The laser can be focused into a very small spot, which can be used for micromachining, such as microcracks and micro-holes. In addition, no tool is required for processing, which belongs to non-contact processing and has no mechanical deformation. Some traditional plates that are difficult to cut or of low quality are easy to solve after laser cutting, especially when cutting some carbon steel plates, laser cutting has an unshakable position.
